We are thrilled to present you with an exclusive preview of the upcoming update to our software! With great enthusiasm, we would like to introduce you to the groundbreaking new features that will make your work life with ELAM Solutions even more efficient and flexible.

Flowchart Simulation

With our latest software update, we have introduced a significant new feature: Flowchart Simulation. This powerful addition has been designed to further enhance and simplify flowchart editing.

How does it work?

After creating and saving your flowcharts, you can now utilize the Flowchart Simulation feature to preview how the process will unfold in practice. This simulation provides an assistant-guided preview of the production process without requiring you to release a new version. It allows you to identify and rectify any errors or inconsistencies before they have real-world implications on production.

What are the advantages?

The Flowchart Simulation saves time and reduces the risk of errors. By having the ability to simulate the production process in advance, issues or uncertainties can be identified and resolved before they become real problems. This means less time and effort spent on troubleshooting and a more efficient production process.

We are confident that this new feature will be a valuable tool for all users of our software, and we look forward to hearing your feedback!

New Step-Template "Free Choices"

We are excited to introduce a new addition to our collection of step templates: "Free Choices." This new step template expands our ELAM Flowchart, providing another powerful feature to optimize and customize your workflows.

How does it work?

To utilize the "Free Choices" step template, simply select it from the list of available step templates and define up to six individual outputs. Each output will then be displayed as a button in the assistant. Users can click on the corresponding button in the assistant, depending on the situation, to follow the desired path. This provides an intuitive and user-friendly way to choose between different paths in your process flow.

We are confident that the "Free Choices" step template is a great addition to our existing set of tools and will contribute to making your process flow smoother and more efficient.

What are the advantages?

The "Free Choices" step template provides users with the ability to define up to six individual outputs. This opens up new possibilities for a more flexible and customized workflow design.

Each defined output is represented as a button in the assistant, which can be clicked by users.

Application possibilities

This new template is particularly helpful in situations where multiple process outcomes are possible, and the decision of which path to take depends on specific conditions or user interactions. Whether it's complex manufacturing processes, conditions, or internal workflows, the "Free Choices" template provides you with the flexibility you need to make your flowchart dynamic and interactive.

New Step-Template "Value Comparison"

We are proud to introduce another addition to our ever-growing range of step templates: "Value Comparison". This step template provides you with the ability to further enhance the efficiency of your processes by allowing manual checks of measured values.

How does it work?

Utilizing the "Value Comparison" step template is incredibly straightforward. Simply select it from the list of available step templates, define the desired threshold values, and allow your users to enter their measurement value. The system will then automatically check whether the entered value falls within the specified limits.

What are the advantages?

With the "Value Comparison" step template, users can set a lower bound and an upper bound for a specific value. In the assistant, the user will then be prompted to enter a measurement value, which will be checked for compliance with the set boundaries.

Application possibilities

The "Value Comparison" step template is extremely useful in situations where it is important for certain values to fall within predefined boundaries. Whether you are conducting quality assurance measures, monitoring safety standards, or measuring progress, this template enables you to perform efficient and accurate checks.

Displaying the IoT Tool Connection Status

We are excited to introduce another feature for our ELAM Assistant: "Tool Connection Status". With this functionality, you will have a clear overview of the availability and connection status of various tools within your Smart Work Assistant (SWA).

The new feature is part of our ongoing commitment to providing you with the best features and tools to make your work life as efficient as possible.

How does it work?

Open the assistant and click on the button for the tool overview. There, you will see all the available tools at your station, along with their current connection status. This allows you to quickly determine if all your tools are properly connected and ready for use.

Note: The displayed connection status is updated when the tool overview window is opened.

What are the advantages?

This feature allows for instant identification of connection issues, thereby minimizing potential downtime or performance issues. We aim to provide you with an additional layer of control to ensure that your work environment functions optimally.

Application possibilities

If you are unable to access your tool, you can determine if there is a connection issue by checking the tool connection status.

Displaying images in the product history

We are excited to introduce a new feature in our dashboard: "Display Images in Product History." This functionality significantly enhances the visual clarity and information density of your product history by displaying images that have been uploaded to individual step templates.

How does it work?

To utilize the new feature, simply navigate to your product history in the dashboard. There, you will now see images that have been uploaded to individual step templates, seamlessly integrated into the product history. Click on an image to view it in its original size. This provides you with a visually engaging and informative overview of the entire product lifecycle.

What are the advantages?

With the new feature of "Displaying Images in Product History," you now have the ability to gain an even deeper insight into the development and progress of your products. Images that have been uploaded to individual step templates are now displayed directly in the product history, allowing you to quickly and easily access visual information about the various stages of the product lifecycle.

Application possibilities

This feature is particularly useful for providing visual information and details about each step in your process. It is ideal for quickly and easily gaining an overview of the progress and current status of a product by displaying visual workflows and advancements directly in your product history.

Fixed Bugs

  • The dashboard supports export functions
  • The loading of flowcharts in the assistant has been optimized to prevent asynchronous rendering of information, which caused display overlaps depending on internet speed
  • When changing the variant in the flowchart, the displayed information is updated faster
  • In the document management feature, the "unsaved changes" error message is no longer displayed when no changes have been made.
  • The tool overview list immediately reflects updated data
  • In the assistant, the text in the "Description" field is displayed in the same format as during configuration
  • In the variant's detail dialog, input validation occurs directly in the front-end, and error messages are displayed before saving in case of incorrect input
  • In the dashboard, the font size of the text description for a step is displayed with a default size of 12px
